We are located in rural Ontario, in Canada. Our school is exceptionally small, with only 235 students, but this year our enrollement is actually up from last year by about 30. We are a 9-12 school this year, but will be transitioning to a 7-12 school beginning next year. The students who will be working on this project are skilled in programming in Flash cs4, and this is our primary focus. This means we can contribute animations, applications, and interactive elements, but will not be focussed on web design or html for the first half of the contest. After the semester change in January, our number of participating students will increase, and the focus will swing more towards design and html publising, under a different course code, but we can also continue on with programming components.
We have entered the GVC contest several times, and have won several times at various levels. We look forward to working and collaborating with students from diverse backgrounds. Our only language is English.
